South Country Deanery
a part of the Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane

South Country Deanery
comprises the eleven parishes of
Boonah, Booval, Esk, Gatton, Goodna,
Ipswich, Laidley, Leichhardt, North Ipswich,
Rosewood and Springfield.

The South Country Deanery is comprised of eleven Catholic Parishes to the South West of Brisbane centred on the City of Ipswich. The Deanery has been created to assist parishes to minister to their communities.

This website was produced to assist both local residents and visitors to the area to find information about the services offered by the Catholic Church in our region.

Within the website you will find links to each of the parishes within our deanery, together with news of what is happening both within our deanery and the Archdiocese.

We hope that it will allow you to find out what's happening in your local area, find a church closest to where you live, or just simply find information about your particular area of interest.
